Bold, ornate, and beautifully distinctive, this previously treasured malachite cocktail ring comes from my personal jewelry collection.
An elongated rectangular malachite stone forms the dramatic centerpiece, displaying the rich green and near-black banding for which malachite is known. Ornate scrolling filigree surrounds the stone, giving the ring a romantic, old-world character.
In metaphysical traditions, malachite is especially associated with transformation, protection, and emotional healing. It is often chosen as a supportive stone during periods of growth, change, and personal renewal.
The interior of the band is hallmarked “S925,” confirming a base of 925 sterling silver. The ring has a gold-tone finish; however, the gold content and plating thickness are unknown, so it is not being represented as gold vermeil.
This is a pre-owned piece with visible tarnishing, patina, and areas of wear to the gold-tone finish, particularly along the band and underside. This ring comes from a private personal collection and has been previously worn. It may show minor signs of wear consistent with careful prior ownership. Please review all photographs closely, as they form part of the item description.
To protect the natural malachite and preserve the gold-tone finish, remove the ring before bathing, swimming, sleeping, exercising, washing your hands, or doing household chores. Avoid contact with water, perfume, lotion, hairspray, cosmetics, hand sanitizer, and cleaning products.
After wearing, gently wipe the ring with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do not soak it or use chemical jewelry cleaners, silver polish, abrasive polishing cloths, ultrasonic cleaners, or steam cleaners, as these may damage the malachite or remove more of the gold-tone finish.
Store the ring separately in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box in a cool, dry place to prevent scratching, tarnishing, and additional finish wear.
